Those of you who attended the LittleLions-Rugby Xmas Drinks will know as part of the evening we had a fun quiz, with the forfeit of the person with the lowest score to organise the next parent social.
So it gives me great pleasure to announce that Tom Limbert (Archie’s dad, at Moortown) has spent hours deliberating over which course we should grace and having given up waiting for St. Andrew’s to get back to him (apparently there’s some big game on there soon!), he has approached Roundhay Golf Club and provisionally booked for us to play 9 holes, on the 8th May, starting 5.30pm-6.00pm.
Please could anyone interested in joining us please let me or Tom know so we can get a feel for numbers.
The idea is that we would play 9 holes and then maybe move on for a few beers nearby, depending on how people felt. Obviously the coaches and I will be on Ribena as we will be coaching your children the next day!
We think cost will be somewhere between £10.00-£12.00, depending on numbers.
The format for the game will depend on quality of players who join us, but it has been muted that given everyone loves ‘Cowboys & Indians’, we may end up playing Texas Scramble. (No James, that does not mean you have to dress up as Woody from Toy Story….then again, it doesn’t mean you can’t! – lol!)
Please check your diaries and let us know if you can make it? Also, if there are people you know not on this list (that includes your husbands!), then please forward it accordingly.
See you all this weekend.
